At Aspiri Primary School we recognise that The Arts engages, inspires and excites the imagination, which encourages students to reach their creative and expressive potential.
Aspiri Primary School offers three of the specialist art areas: Dance, Music and Visual Arts. Together they provide opportunities for students to learn how to create, design, represent, communicate and share their ideas, emotions, observations and experiences, as they discover and interpret the world.
In Visual Art, students create visual representations inspired by artists work, stories, events and their own imagination. They develop perceptual and conceptual understanding, critical reasoning and practical skills through exploring and expanding their understanding of their world, and other worlds.
Our exemplary visual arts program exposes students to a multitude of art forms, mediums and materials and are given opportunities to develop their individual creativity. Our talented young artists create artworks that are presented within the school and is valued as an important part of each student’s learning journey.
